Default 1990 L98 rough idle, arcing at plugs and plug wires

replaced plugs,plug wires(acdelco),coil,pickup coil,dist. cap,rotor,fuel filter,fuel pump,o2 sensor,set timing,new gas,checked fuel pressure(38 psi running),checked all sensors,checked ecm,no codes set(except 42 when I set timing),cleared codes,checked compression.....
injector ohm values are 17.3,10,17.2,9,17.5,17.4,8.5,17.5..should be 12-16 ohms..
driver side exhaust glowing red between small cat and main cat at idle.....
do injectors need replaced?...do cats need replaced or eliminated?
rich or lean fuel condition cause exhaust to glow red and rough idle and arcing?...
engine seems to miss at constant speed at top of 1st,2nd,etc..and gurgles deaccelerating
runs fine accelerating, idle steady, cruise steady....
new injectors on the way......will update..installed 8 new accell(21lb) injectors...runs like it did in 92'...Hooray all is well..almost..my right front (new) tire developed a knot..it never ends...

Injectors should be no more than 1 ohm resistance between them. Also, if you had a way to do an injector balance test, no more than half pound pressure drop between them. But, due to the wide range of resistance you have, I would say yes to replacement. I got a brand new set for $310.00 from www.fiveomotorsports.com. It is about a 4 to 5 hour job to replace injectors on a L98. Good Luck [8D]

Remove yoru cats. They should not be glowing. That is due to clogged ones. Also you can gain up to 25 horsepower froma new exaust system(true dual, no cats, high flow mufflers) Add a good intake and some headers and your up to 55-60 horsepower.
