Okay so i recently bought a 78 vette silver anniversary and it has a few problems that im not sure what to do about. im new to cars and i figure this is a good way to learn. So right now everything is stock except the air cleaner its got an edelbrock cover and filter. also the previouse owner removed the catalytic converter, but gave it to me i just haven't put it on.
So heres some problems:
1. when i start it, it takes a bit to start and i have to hit the gas a bit.
2. when i put it in drive it tends to want to stall out and sometimes does.
3. when i am stopped, but in drive, and take off it tends to want to stall and sometimes does.
4. When the lights are on, and i hit the brakes, the right taillight goes out. but when the lights are off, the brake light works.
5. The spedomete bounces, and the fuel gauge bounces as well.
6. Theres a little bit of rattling on the passenger side door, near the door.
