Hello, This is a cool site! Can anyone give me some help? My wife started our 82 vette cross fire fuel inj... went inside to get some some stuff @ 5min, when she returned the car engined died, she said it sounded similar to it running out of gas. I can see the injectors are not spraying fuel into the carb... where should I start??? I'm sort of mechanically inclined but there is not much room as any owner knows already. I know the fuel filer is in the gas tank but I know that was replace last year... Where is the fuel filter? Thanks

 

Welcome to the site 1010, the pump is in the tank, the filter is along the frame rail, large round silver can about 2.25 in. diameter and 3.5-4/0 in. long, 3/8 flare fittings on both ends. I don't think it's the filter but it won't hurt to change it.
