Default Battery Drain

I have an 87 convertible with a new sealed battery that gets drained in about 5 days. I have used a trouble light in-line on the ground cable and pulled every fuse, but the light remains on. Alternator seems to be charging. It is draing enough amps that a battery saver will not work.

Anybody having a similar problem or can steer me in another direction.

Thanks............

Hi jsnest87, Since you did all the other tests I'll guess theres a bad diode in the alternator, heres how to test it http://www.4wheelnoffroad.com./alter.html Hope that helps, PG

Alternator seems to be charging.
Seems???

Did you put a multimeter on the field terminal of the alternator?
