Charging system failure warning . . . again.

Charging system failure warning . . . again.
Hi Everyone,
I did a search on this topic first and mostly saw all of my own "old" posts on getting a charging system failure warning. The dealership has so far replaced my battery andalternator and everything has been fine for quite some time, but today I got the charging system failure warning when I started my vette. Now, I might have been a little quick in turning the key and I'm wondering if that was the problem. Anyone have any ideas?
I know I read a postabout problems common to C5s and the charging system failure warning was one of them. This article went on to say, "Don't let the dealership replace your alternator, because that is not the problem." Since the dealership has already replaced my alternator and the battery, I'm not sure what to think.
Thanks in advance.
Take care, stay safe.

Sometimes an alternator won't charge up the field coil immediately and the voltage sense picks up on that rather quickly. Just get it cleared and you will probably be ok, but have it checked. As long as your gauge shows 13.5 to 14 v, you should be ok.

Thanks, Guys!
Sounds like good advice. The battery charge reads close to 14, so I will assume everything is okay. As I mentioned, I don't think I turned the key all the way and maybe that was the problem.
Again, thanks .
