I have a 1984 standard (4 + 3 ) coupe that has a couple of nut anchors missing from the door (to keep the door panel in place). It appears that they have never been there. I got a couple to install but am wondering if anyone here has installed them before and how/what you did. I was going to try and carefully drill/carve a opening and use either fiberglass or an epoxy to hold them in place and am wondering if this is the way to go. Any advice/help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.
