I have a 74 with a 4-speed and a reverse lockout from the factory.
All this really does is make you remove the key while in reverse and lock the trans in place.
To my knowlege this is done by means of cable etc.
I am now having problems with the shifter getting stuck in reverse when I start the car up.

Has anyone removed one of these cables, and what was the out come?
