New to site and thank you. Looking for the exact dimensions of a tank sticker 1967 or 1968 I think they are the same. Have gotten so many different answers from 8 1/2 x 11 to 8 x 8, etc. The live ones I have seen have been too deteriorated to measure correctly. Any help is much appreciated.

You might try to contact someone in the NCRS organization. Another thought would be someone at the National Corvette Museum.

 

I spoke today with Betty Hardison who runs the Library and Archives at National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. Betty, confirmed that the size of the Tank Stickers remained the same from 1967 through 1972. In 1973, they changed over to the new landscaped format and larger size.

Thanks for the feedback. For future reference, could you post the dimensions for the two different stickers that she told you about?

 

The 67 through 72 stickers are 6 1/4 x 8 1/4, i didn't ask her about the dimensions of the larger landscaped style 73 and later as I was not interested in those. Based on comments I had received to that question, they are approx 8 1/2 x 11 standard paper size but I cannot confirm that as fact.
