Does anyone happen to know the dimensions of the factory radio in a 2004 model? I am thinking of purchasing (if it fits) 6 CD, AM, FM, XM radio with Aux jack for an Ipod connection - much like what I now have on my 07 Yukon. I was hoping to stay with Chevy/GMC factory replacement to avoid the aftermarket appearnance caused by the slender fitting radios that don't seem to fill in the entire area. OR does anyone have an aftermarket radio that fits nearly perfect - avoiding the "it don't quite fit right but it sounds GREAT - look"?

Ok, without the exact dimensions and thus unable to find a decent radio to replace the OEM, I have decided toadd a Delphi XM Roady and an Aux-2-Ipod connection (omitting the 12 CDchanger in the rear of the car)onto the OEM radio. Does anyone have any recommendations for the speakers?

Yeah, I do, Memphis Component Speakers all the way around. Have them in my car and I absolutely LOVE THEM.
