Default timing

Took dist to be recurved and when I got it back the tag said 24 deg @ 3800. I told the guy I wanted 30 total at 3000 but didn't notice till too late. I had motor dyno'd and they put 14 in at crank. What problems if any am I going to have and can I change springs and/or weights w/o removing dist? What would be a good starting point? This is 327/350 11-1 w/Lunati 60102 cam, Edelbrock intake and carb and usual upgrades. Thanks and appreciate the help.

Default RE: timing

Hi Ttoptom, you won't have any problems, you just won't get all the HP your motor has. Yes! You can change the springs and/ or weights without removing the distributor. PG.
