What is the second keyfob button for?

I have a 1990 coupe and only the left button on my fob works. Can anyone tell me what the second button is for?

Hi ZR1ClONE I don't think you will get a answer on this one. The PKE system didn't come out until 1993 on the corvette. You probably have a after market unit.

thats what I thought too. But I read that if you hold the 2nd button for 2 seconds that it opens the rear hatch on some years. I tried it this morning and it worked! Learned something new. Thanks for your reply.
