37, First Corvette, Why did I wait???
I just bought my first Corvette on Thursday, All black 1995, SIX speed coupe,LT1. Wow. I picked up the car at 1230 hrs. and kept the drivers seat warm until 0300 hrs. What a machine. I should have done this sooner.

I didn't think about it as 9 Hrs. Time flies at 140mph. My first passenger was my girlfreind who stated " This is not as fast as your Camaro." Then she noticed the speedo was registering our cruising speed was 115 smooth as glass mph's. Then her college books and papers flew around the cockpit and out the open roof! Got back home at 0300 pulled out the Camaro and placed my new {used} Corvette in my garage. And my and another car buddy drank a few beers just staring at that black glass. In bed by 0500. Fri= Rain, Sat=Rain, Oh well this is PA. What a car! Thanks for the welcome to the sight, I'm gonna be a regular. Thanks, Tom

Pittsburgh, PA. Southern part of the city. Just came in from a late night blast with the Vette. It never fails to impress! Where are you from Patrick? By the way, Do Corvette owners wave at each other for some reason? On day one a Dk green C4 chased me down on 22/30 just to wave at me. Can any one explain this phenomenon? Thanks, Tom

i went to Pitt, and was born and raised in the south hills. i do know that vette owners will often waive to each other, similar to bikers...i think mac can back me up on both counts?
ive also noticed that when i used to drive my dads bimmer alot, that other bimmer owners will waive.
