Default C4 newbie in Michigan

Hey all! Just checking in & registered, checking out the place
Just bought a 1988 & looking for some help, so I'll be cruising around the C4 forums a bit. Hopefully I can add to other conversations also as I've been a "car nut" for more years than I'd like to admit now! Great place, lots of great info & cant wait to jump in.
Always been a fan of C4's so I bought a "clean, low mileage" one from a supposed "reputable dealer/shop" that wasn't quite what it was described as, so it begins... If anything, it looks good, haha! No worries, it will be a riot soon. I'm a host member at Gilmore Car Museum & spend too much time at local car shows & US 131 Dragway, so thats me. Looking to hit the Corvette Museum soon so might as well do it in style right?
Thanks all for your help & time!

1988, day one

Thanks! If you want to send some of that California sunshine to Michigan, we will gladly take it! This is the time of year around here where all us car-nuts are scrambling around trying to wake our cars up from storage & trying to finish up all the stuff we did to it over the winter, ughh. 65* Saturday, then 2" of snow on Monday, torture!

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the picture of your nice new ride, and I don’t think you’ll find one guy on here that thinks there’s too much time spent working on and polishing the car or going to car shows. Enjoy !

Yes! Spend 4 days cleaning the car, drive it one day to a show, then repeat! Pretty sure I have some of every brands "cleaner, wax, spray, unicorn horn gel, treatment & coating" on the market. I have my go-to products, but a sucker to try anything else. Its an addiction, but a good one
