Greetings from an "Old", new member
After a very long vette-less time (34 years) I am again back in the family. A couple months (after my last birthday starting with a "5") I was able to talk my wife into getting one of America's only sports cars. It's a 1990 conv. Black, 6-speed, 3:30 gears, L-98. Some mods are: 52mm TB; 24 lb injectors, pressure regulator and fuel pump; "super chip"; K&N filter; new exhaust from cat back w/FloMaster muffs. The car is in very good cond. and has 97k miles. I guess AWESOME would start to describe it.
My first Vette was in 1972. It was a '67 conv. Yellow, 327-300 hp, Auto trans. That was a nice car, but a long time ago....
I can say the pure joy and fun of driving a Vette hasn't changed....even though I live in Oregon now not So. Cal., I still drive the Vette every chance I get.
Happy Holidays to all

Welcome from another 'old' newbie. My story is similar to yours. First owned a '71 in 1973, then followed it with a 1972 in 1974. Now 30 years later, it was a quick sell to my wife for me to get my latest vette, as I owned the '72 when I first started dating her! I think it makes her feel young again - I know I do! Ah, the many powers of the Corvette.......
