Huge Fan
Wish I could introduce my corvette, unfortunately I am currently just a fan. I have a good friend down in Bowling Green, KY who is going to bring me in for a tour of the plant when I visit him next. Howdy to all of you.
No problem. Dreaming is not as good as owning, but . . .
In my case, I had wanted a silver, 427 cubic inch, don't-even-think-about-it-king-of-the-street Corvette coupe since 1966, when I saw one the first original 7-liter 'vettes. I fell in love. It had to be silver, it had to be a real coupe, and it had to have 427 cubic inches, it had to be a street machine, and it had to be initimidating as hell. Only problem all those years was how to pay for it.
It took a while -- 36 years of updating the dream as vettes evolved: marriage, mortgage, three kids through college, before I could own it, but it was worth it.

Special K has a good point. C4s cover many years and many price ranges. Find one you can afford. They are great cars and the best part is that there are gobs of inexpensive aftermarket goodies to make them faster: they are seriously fast to begin with, but you can ahve a lot of fun hotrodding them at not much expense.
come on i own a mustang and a vette.look i am not trying to be mean, but it just seems to me that all you guys that moc the mustang my be just a little afraid of them?
