Is it possible to install an exaust system yourself (mufflers) in your own driveway without having to take it into a shop?

 

Depends... If you are just doing mufflers, it isn't too tough. If you are doing pipes and mufflers, and buy a pre-bent kit that fits well enough, pretty easy. If bolts/nuts and connections are rusted bad, it can be tough.

Jack it up and take a look. Then add an hour of knuckle busting and swearing.
