I have always wanted to get an idea from a group of good C3 Corvette owners that have experience as to which is the best to own, an LT-1 or a Big Block C3 Corvette?
As you know there are as many options out there as there are C3 Corvette’s. I know my opinion, however I would really like to hear from those of you that have owned and driven C3’s for quite some time. I have never owned one myself. Do your supplied information would be most helpful and appreciated.

 

Nothing beats the power of a big block. It really depends on what you want to do, a small block car handles much better. But big blocks can devour tires.
And I really prefer 4 speeds.

 

Welcome to the Forums. I like the sound and torque of the BB but for working on I would say LT1 has more room around the engine for working on. Personal choice I think.
