Master cylinder upgrade

Default Master cylinder upgrade
I am upgrading my 66 master cylinder to a 68 cylinder. Does the front wheel line hook up to the front reservoir? The installation lines that came with the cylinder seem to fit best with the front connected to the reservoir next to the firewall, but that doesn't seem logical to me.

Yup, front port on the master cylinder goes to the front brakes.
