Default need help

im hoping you guys can help me out. i am trying to decide which vette to get. im looking at either a 2005-2008 c6 or z06 and cant really tell the differences between them, i know looks are one thing but im more interested in performance. i have never really payed any attention to chevy and drive a 2003 Mach 1 (nicely modified)
any info would be great

Gosh, don't want to be snooty! About all the advice I can give is to buy all the performance you can afford! The latest model Z06 would be the way I would go (if I couldn't swing a ZR1) .The drawback here would be that the Z06 could very well be thrashed, whereas the milder model might not be. I personally think that any C6 would be a lot more car than the Mach 1. My $.02.

The ZO6 has more performance stock, but whether it is a good deal or not will depend on the price. It does not offer that much over the standard 435 HP, and theZO6 is the squirelly-est handling 'vette in years.; If it were me, I would by a standard 'vette and plan on spending the difference on mods: you would be way ahead on power and could have it done your way, too.
