Default Newbee here

I am new here to this forum, but not to forums in general and not to Corvettes. I have owned my current Corvette for a lttle over three years. Just wanted to drop in and say Hi.

Welcome to the forum, I am a new member as well. I bought my 89 two and a half years ago. We all hope you like what you will learn here, and the friends you will make.[sm=welcomesign.gif]

Thanks for the warm welcomes. As far as mods, so far she's pretty stock. Except for the Crane Gold 1.6RR. She has 114k on the clock, but you'd never know it by looking at her. I have done some work on it, had the Bose rebuilt (head and all four amps), replaced almost all the weatherstrip, changed out stock brakes with drilled and slotted rotors and Hawk pads, added the ZR1 wheels, pulled the radiator and cleaned out all the crap that she had vacuumed up off the ground and replaced all the hoses, added the Corsa exhaust, redyed the leather seats, removed and replaced the water pump/optispark and the seals that are on the engine timing cover (all three), and most recently replaced the four u-joints on the half shafts and some of the bushings in the rear.

On the list for this winter I have to replace the driveshaft u-joints, and some of the suspension bushings in the front, and I still have a nagging little oil leak that needs my attention (that was the reason I replaced the seals on the front cover).

I'm not a mechanic, but I'm not afraid to jump in with both feet.

I haven't figured out how to post pictures but I uploaded some to my gallery.
Ok, I got it I think.....Here's one of my seats after redying them. The color doesn't look too good with the sun blazing on it, it washes out the RED and makes it look orange.

Sounds like I need to pick your brain.

Ok, but don't pick too deep, there's not a lot there.[sm=happybounce.gif]
