I think that most of the regulars know me. I've been on here for a few years now.
I was appointed to be one of the Moderators, and gladly accepted. Soon after, I was made an administrator. It was a lot of fun for quite some time. Sure, we had the occasional spam and rude people come and go, but all in all, we had a real fine group.
The site started to have some probs with programming that were never addressed. Then suddenly, with out notice, It all changed. Our photos were all gone, and the “Ride of the Month” feature was a disgrace.
Now, we have been inundated with ****, and drug ads.
I have tried to keep up with the spam and such, but when someone posts over 100 times, that’s it. ( I only have authorization to delete less than 50 posts. Sorry! ) I have asked for help from the main administration, to no avail.

To all my Dear friends,
Feel free to stay in touch. Most of you have my e-address. I don’t know how often, or if I’ll be posting.
Thank you for all the great times we had in the “Bowtie Lounge” with “Top Speed”, “Blue Shark”, and so many others.
Corvette Lady, rjenson, Lee Willis, watwheel, Flying Low, 94blackc4, Corvette King, 78buckshot,…..my lord, there are so many of you, I just can’t name you all. For that, I apologize.
And a special prayer goes out to GoRichB.

Thanks for all you have done and tried to do to hold this forum together.
You have made a difference in a lot of lives around here.
And been pretty darn entertaining doing it. Good luck finding a new home base.
By the way.... is that 454 still hanging in the tree. Hope you get to finish it now. Keep in touch.

We will all miss you and the good times on this site. Unfortunately as you stated it just isn't "fun" here anymore, what with all of the trash on the site now. Please feel free to keep in touch or to come by for a visit, there is always room for someone like you! Please do drop in at the other site too, we always welcome new arrivals there.

It was fun while it lasted.

Sorry to see you go but understand. Was a regular on a Tahoe forum and it went Tango Uniform for several months w/ no word as to what was happening. Shortly after it came back online, another Tahoe forum started up and most migrated over there since they were all PO'd about no explanation.

Take care and keep the greasy side down.

 

I'll say thanks too. This used to be a great place to spend some time. Learned alot and made some friends as well. Good luck with the pannin' and stay in touch.
