I was born 100 years too late. Born in 1952. If I was born in 1852, I would have been too young for the Civil War, too old for WWI, would have moved out west when land was free, seen the first locomotive, car, and airplane, and died before the depression of 1929.
Instead, I was faced with the atom bomb, Viet Nam, radical Muslims, high taxes, the ACLU, gun control, a mortgage, and I'm still alive. Oh,............ to live the simple life of long ago.

 

I've thought of that exact thing many times, bro... but then... there'd a been no Vette.... so, which is better? Now if we could have our Vette's AND ride the range... that'd be cool.

As a country we need to have a President and Congress that wants to downsize the legal system. At the end of the day "9 wise people" decide the law, in the meantime hundreds of idiots appointed for ridiculous reasons get to make "stupid temporary laws"!

The life of an average Judge has to be very boring, so they rule to extremes to get attention for themselves......usually very bad attention!!!

It's just politics, none of it will stick.

 

Sounds like someone is thinking of running for office.

 

My granddad was a judge. He told me the best job in the world was to be the district judge in a small town and i think he might have been right. And he insisted it was entertaining , he said it never ceased to amaze him how stupid some criminals could be, and civil cases always proofed that people were both stupid and petty beyond belief.

 

The Quarter Horse was the Vette of the old west. They be one bad ride!!!
