Sorry to hear that about Ansen starship!! I was lucky though. Still had my old ones from 1975 although they were pretty pitted and dull. Found this place in Michigan called Alloy Wheel Specialists who put them on a lathe for me and turned them down to a smooth finish, painted and clear coated them. They look brand new out of the box. Have pics of them in the gallery. I would recommmend them to anyone needing wheel work. Charged me $750 for all four which I thought was pretty reasonable. Too bad about the China deal though!

 

I remember, back in the 50's, no one wanted Japanese products due to the inferior products. Now, lead paint on toys, you can't get parts for a lot of items, and they have free trade with us, but not us with them.
I am against such one sided business dealings, and life theatening products. I personally, am boycotting all China products and those who sell them.
