What's the latest on Rich here?

 

Hey Chuck, I guess Carla hasn't contacted RJ lately. I wish she would. I've been wondering about our Rich. We'll keep up the prayers.

It's been my experience with brain injury patients that what was there before - the person that is - is there afterwards. Maybe some physical limitations, but the same drive is there. Or 'anti-drive', as was the case with one that I worked with. Total derelict, no industry about his way, just a non-producer. Even the substance abuse became displaced by another behavior addiction.

And the industrious types usually became industrious again. Most famous - the Central Park jogger chick (not my patient tho'; I wish more of mine were like her).
