Lotta' air traffic (heavies) today...
I watch and listen from the dirt in Snow Hill, NC.
Today ataround 12 noon EDT, I heard strange turbines. I knew it wasn't the KC-135 that's frequently on maneuvers. I jumped up from under the car, and saw one I hadn't seen for a few years - AWACS 707
; about 3,500 ft, bearing SJAFB. You should hear that fan spinnin'

It's not ANG, is it? The KC-10, -135, I think are ANG...
Then, at 19:30, heard a heavy (767, 777?what mil config?; no com/civ heavies around here); same bearing. 15 minutes later, another.
