I thought I heard a hovering chopper - shootin' for topography maps or somethin'... I walked outside with the binoculars, and saw this out back. I ran (if ya' wanna' call it runnin') back in the house, grabbed my trusty Mickey Mouse camera, and snapped a few pics.

I heard that Merc Marinewas courtin'Fountain down there;like put him on the payroll in charge of what he's got. Mighta' been the other way around too!All that land/rec/rv areagot sold to developers for upper 8 figures, so there's a few changes goin' on in there now...

Last I heard Mercury/Brunswick owned a pretty good chunk of Fountain. Not controling but large non-the-less.That was back in the early 90's while I was there. What property did he sell? the piece accross the road? I remember he duped them into giving him 3 mill. and he pissed it away on kilo runs. fightin' with larry Smith of Scarab fame.I remember them telling him not to spend more than 500.00 with out calling them first. that went over big. LOL! Needless to say he spent it all on purpose, LOL! Went out and had 6 custom race engines built(200k ea.)and blew up two of them just testing. That's when we built his first "hudson coupe" 47' race boat.Do you still get over there much? If so do me a favor and tell Bridges and Bootsinger I said hi please and if you see Reggie tell him I said "bite me" LOL!. Cheers
