Your favorite diecasts
Nearly every Corvette owner has some diecasts, from hot wheels to the big 1/12 scale. What is your favorite model, and which one do you wish they made? Personally I have a 96 CE and wish there was more out there for that car, and I was wondering if I'm the only one, or if other models have gone overlooked.

RE: Your favorite diecasts
I'm afraid I don't have any right now. I haven't been able to locate any 2001 1/18's that aren't z06's. However ertl did make a 2003 coupe in black. There's one on ebay for 9.99. I had some come in a while ago as poilce cars and I was very impressed with the paint and slim 5 spoke chrome wheels.
Here's the car in police trim:
I was talking to someone yesterday who has a 78 pace car without the "billboard advertisment" on the doors. He said he'd love to have his car in 1/18th (or any scale) without the graphics.

I don't believe they make any 86/87 convertibles in 1/18th. I have seen 84 coupes with targa tops in red, balck, silver (and in blue I think with sports team logos if I remember correctly.)
Franklin mint makes the 1/24 86 convertible in yellow, as well as the ultra-rare mid america version with the pace car graphics. Greenlight makes the pace car version in silver, black, yellow and gold.
I love the 69 Camaro's. I have the Yenko's by ertl, as well as the Baldwin motions, COPO's (pace cars of course as well) in my personal collection.

Oh God yeh; the COPO's and Baldwin's... got 'em.... also got a very rare ZL1 with the aluminum 427 diecast.... I believe they made 69 of those cars for real in 1969, and were almost double the sticker price of a Z/28.... I know a guy who's friend has one for real in his collection of '69 Camaro's. The guy makes me sick he's got so many cool '69 Camaro's; well north of $1.5M collection of 'em in a warehouse. Eeep.
