Default Corvette Only - South Carolina Race

You are all invited to the 2nd ever National Corvette Challenge. The event is open to all Corvettes in addition to all participants of any of the Corvette Challenges around the nation. The event will not count for points in our series.

The event will take place at Carolina Dragway in Aiken South Carolina on February 24 and 25, 2006. Friday will be a test and tune session and Saturday will be test and tune and National eliminations. The event will include both a bracket race and heads-up race

Visit www.carolinacorvettechallenge.com/national/ <http://www.carolinacorvettechallenge.com/national/> for complete details and to sign up.

We didn't run it last year. Year before we had about 80 Vettes racing and 60 more non racers. Everyone had a fantastic time.

We might come by to watch but not run. My car can do easy low 10s - maybe even high 9s with slicks and a bit of abuse, but it does not have a roll cage or rollover switches, etc., so it does not meet IHRA criteria for its class.

I'll guarantee you'll have a good time Lee. Almost half the cars there don't race. You could also place a block under the gas pedal and keep it above 11.50.
