Default throttle by wire

Hey guys and gals I have an issue with the throttle by wire setup on my 98 coupe. The car is basically a stock 98 6-speed with intake, Corsa cat-back exhaust, aluminum flywheel and RPS stage 3 clutch, cags, and throttle body bypass. All mods done prior to my ownership. I recently put the car on a dyno and pulled 317hp / 327tq. i went to the 1/4 today to get some track times and was very disappointed with the launch characteristics on this car. I tried a low RPM (1100-1200) approach as well as a ridiculous (2000 RPM) launch. With the 2000 launch the response was as expected tire shredding no grip launch with no engine cutout. the 1100-1800 launch which I was wanting to use basically to save the new tires was the disappointing run. Once launched the engines power dropped of for a split second im guessing a factory default. The reason for all of the above was basically is there anyway to eliminate the engine from cutting out like that? Also has anyone else had trouble with this or am I doing something wrong? If anyone has an idea what times I shoud be turning with the mods and power I have that would be great as well.

Temp was around 60 degrees during all the passes made and this was the best.
Todays best slip:
R/T: .304
60' : 2.524 <----- engine hesitation
330: 6.292
1/8: 9.235 <----- ugh i ran a 8.7 in my 96 Z28 a few years back
MPH: 83.83
1000: ---
1/4: 13.846 <----- 96 Z28 ran a 13.918
MPH: 107.56

Sorry for the long thread hope all the info helps.
