electrical
good morning all. i removed the stock radio in my 2006 base model corvette that i've owned for less than a year and replaced it with an up to date kenwood radio. i know i know. nobody calls it a radio anymore. as i was getting ready to put back the center plastic console with the air vents at the top, i noticed a missing male connection that i don't remember removing but i thought i better check. there is a six prong female connection permantly attached to the underside of the dash and just above the air vents. this connection is next to where the flasher wire comes out and attaches to the back side of the v shaped flasher button. i'm assuming a six prong male connection is missing and i was hoping someone could tell me if it is important or just there for after market items i might want down the road. thank you for any info you can give me.
