I just removed my Bose stereo to replace with a Alpine and I can find a antenna cable. Is there even one there or do I have to run one?
Thanks

Thanks repodude43 02-18-2007, 02:48 AM it has one it may be larger than the one on the alpine but you can get a adapterif it is but you should have a antena wire out of the back of the factory radio OzoneTrash 02-18-2007, 03:22 AM Thanks for the quick reply. Ihave the antenna adapter. But theres not even a place on the factory stereo I just removed for a antenna, just the wiring harness. The factory stereo is a Bose Gold Series Model 16172721 if this helps. I just relized that I bought the wrong wiring harness too. I bought the Metra 70-1858 which is wrong, it won't hook up to the car harness. Now I need to find out which wiring harness is right. I am changing the speakers also so I wont be using the spearks amps. Thanks, Steve OzoneTrash 02-18-2007, 04:29 AM I have been checking and it looks like I need the Metra 70-1857. Am I correct? Will this solve my antenna problem? Thanks, Steve OzoneTrash 02-24-2007, 05:54 AM Well I just got the Metra 70-1857 in today. Its wrong also. I sure would like a little help here. I getting tired of wasting money. The wiring harness plugs of both wiring harness are no where what I need. Come on guys a little help, Steve OzoneTrash 02-24-2007, 03:10 PM Never mind I'm just going to run new wires for everything. Thanks, Steve minesbroken 07-08-2007, 11:12 PM you have to find the tuner pack in the dash board...your antenna and your plug in for the metra 70-1858 harness are at the tuner pack. it is usually located on the passenger side of the car under the dash forward and to the right. thats where your power and amp turnon leads are as well as the antenna lead. |
