Default 67 idle issue

67 big block. Motor starts and when warm will not idle and dies under 1000 rpm or so. New cap. TIC ignition. Also inadvertently stops running . Guages dot move and act normal. Confused
thanks
have video

If it dies under 1,000 rpm, the first place I'd look would be the carb. Since it does this after warmed up, that means that w/o the extra fuel provided by the choke, it needs more fuel than the idle circuit can supply. That's where you need to start looking.

Did it just start doing this and has any thing been changed or worked on recently?

The only change it was not started for around 6 months. Hoped it would have cleaned out eventually Seafoam has not helped.
I agree with your note. Thank you for sharing

If you feel comfortable doing it, you should probably consider rebuilding the carburetor. HP Books has a very detailed book for both Holleys and QJets. I've done both and as long as you take time, it's not terribly difficult.
