Motor/manifold dyno question.
Gentlemen,
On the engine dyno my 540 did 676 hp at 6000 rpm and 673 TQ at 4700 with a high rise manifold. On a chassis dyno with a well tuned port match factory tri-power it only did 461Hp at 5850 rpm and 513 TQ. I was thinking the HP would be in the low 500 hp range. Going to the tri-power set up would cost me that much of a drop? It looks like (in my opinion) that the hp is going flat a bit early on the top end due to limited air/fuel limitations of the tri-power. This make sense? Any feed-back pls?
Tying to upload dyno sheet
