1965 Corvette
I have to replace one of my Convertible Top Deck Lid Strike Plate. Can anyone advise a way to compress these rivets when installing this plate or is there another way suggested to reinstall this plates.

If you need to have it represent OEM then I would check with some of the aftermarket suppliers that do reproduction parts like Paragon. Otherwise you could probably use a pop rivet and washer.
