I just bought a 1977 corvette and from what i've read and heard the alarm switch was moved from the driver side fender to the door lock.Mine is on the driver side fender.Did any of the 1977 vettes have the switch on the fender?This is my first vette. Also 76 was the last of the stingrays from what i understand.My 77 has the stingray emblems the fenders is it possible this 77 has a 76 nose? I'm new on here guys and would appreciate any help.Thanks

 

Part way through 77 they relocated the alarm switch to the door lock so you may have an early 77.The stingray fender emblem acording to my books was dropped at the end of 76.Maybe a previous owner liked the emblem and just installed them, or may be yours was a real early model and it got put on at the factory(the plot thickens) Good luck and most of all have fun and enjoy the car!!!

well my 77 has the corvette flags on it but it also has the fender alarm...i wonder how hard it would be to convert that to the door lock...looks like i gotta new project
