1981 Clutch Choice
Hello There,
I have a 1981 with BW 4-speed and I am in the process of installing a GM 330 hp 350 crate engine. It has the later model '86 style flywheel. It will be driven on the street so what clutch do I need? I have called several parts people but have not found anyone that can tell what should go in it. I am pretty sure it is a 26 spline on the tranny but have not pulled the engine yet. Does anyone have the experience/knowledge to give some advice?

I have center force 2 clutches in both my 74 vet and 69 camaro.
The camaro has a later crate engine and i belive a 26 spline.
Best thing to do is call the summit racing tech support hot line and they can help you out.
Also, this is a serious clutch for throwing big shifts, not the best clutch to get stuck in traffic with, heats up fast.
