Default 1982 crossfire fuel injection, car quitting

OK here it goes I just bought a 1982 crossfire injection corvette, in hot weather it seems to run good but even at 60 F it wants to quit while driving. At idle it will be running then rev up then go back to normal rpm then quit. Sometimes I can feel it start to die while I'm driving and if I pump the gas I can get it too comeback other times I can't pull it out. So if anyone has some suggestions I would sure appreciate it. I've put some fuel injector cleaner in the tank and I've went through half a tank since I got it.

Thank you all very much for any help

You have probably got a lean condition that could be caused by a number of things. I would first look at the operation of the idle control motor. Aother thing that was common on the cross-fires was the upper intake plenum gasket gets sucked in around the back and will make a lean condition. Spray carb cleaner around the intake while @ idle and see if you see any change in idle condition. [8D]
