My 68 will not unlock on the passenger side hood release. I can see that the cable appears to have snapped. Driver side pops up but not the passenger. How do I possibly get this to release so I can re-attach a new cable and open my hood again?

 

This topic was tossed around about a year back. There are holes to go through f/ this. My '81 is different. If I'm not mistaken, your year is easier to deal w/ than mine. See if you can't find this topic on this site, or give it afew days f/ these guys to reply. Afew of the current members have the info you need. Also, look in the mid-america motor works catalog f/ the tool/info.

 

One of the major aftermarket Corvette suppliers has some illustrated instructions on this. Sorry can't remember which one.
