Default C3 Floor Pans

I have a 76 C3 that went o the assembly line in 75. It was finished in 76. The floor pans are half fiberglass and half metal. The metal is were the seats sit. That portion is rusted out. The front is fiberglass. How can I fix this and has anyone seen this before?

Welcome to the forums. Yes this is a common problem with C-3's and most steel floor vehicles in high moisture areas. You can replace the floor pan or cut out the bad sections and section in new metal. You can also remove the metal and use it to mold a fiberglass section to replace the metal section. You have options.

Thank you, so you are saying I can make the entire floor made of fiberglass? Sorry it took so long to respond

If it still has the catalytic converter, I wouldn't recommend removing the metal. You might be able to find a replacement metal floor pan from a donor vehicle from a place such as Contemporary Corvettes salvage yard in Pennsylvania.
