My brother took off the outside door latches off his 69, then shut the doors 30 years ago. I can't find the latch handles to see how they work. Anyone have an idea what to do? I can look down inside the door through the messing outside latch, and see several things to pull or push. Nothing works. Thanks for any help. Stan

 

Do you still have the outside door latch mechanisms? If you do, it would be helpful to determine if the outside llatch pulls up on a linkage or pushes down. Without having a door panel off it's hard to tell which linkage to try.
