Default Carburetor Problem Solved.

About three months ago my 74 350 auto trans started to develop a miss when I was waiting at a light, I thought that the Carburetor was going bad, I bought a junk yard carb to take apart since I had no clue about carbs and I didn't want to practice on mine. Well I found out that the Q-Jet is easy to repair if your just going to do the basic rebuild, such as fuel filter, gaskets, accelerator pump, float, needle and seat so don't be afraid to try it yourself. Here's the link I used http://www.4wheelnoffroad.com/qjet.html Hope this helps, PG

I can't stand the suspense. Did you find/fix the problem?

Yes, the carb was fine, nothing wrong with it, the miss went away after I changed the vacuum lines. PG.
