Default Changing Fuel Pump

Haynes book says it just comes out through the filler neck on top without dropping the tank. Is it this easy?

Is there a fuse for the electric fuel pump?

I'm sure there's a fuse for the pump. Don't see how it would come out thru the top of the tank.

I'm sure the pump is already changed out, but on my '81, the pick-up and feed tube, and float assy. comes out through the filler neck. Very convenient.
