....and there is no way for the averagemechanicto recharge the system with smoke. It is done at the factory, and the average consumer just can't afford the "smoke" injection device. Not to mention that there are just too many EPA restrictions on the procedure, towarrant
publicimplamentationofthe process.

You guys are way behind! Those alternators that contain smoke have been outlawed, first in California and then the rest of the country as they cause lung cancer. The smoke that's contained in them is even more toxic than cigarette smoke and/or car exhaust.
