No the chrome wont make it faster but it sure dose make it look better!!
i added the chrome after spending the large bills for the right guts a 69 350 (vette) engine bored and stroked to a 383 with a new steel crank fordged flat top pistons heavy duty rods but most importantly the healthy comp cam with the dart 2 sportsman heads with 2:05 valves!! best money you can spend on an engine is in the cam and heads!!
pushing around 475 hp and walks away from any factory bb i have come across so far.

chrome wont get you home faster but it dose look better !!! LOL
