Hey Guys,
I could use a little help here.
Tuned up my 74 yesterday and it ran really good until today when I tried to start it again.
Took me a good number of trys before it started and after that plenty of pinging at any speed.
Car has 350 with points and stock distributor.

 

Dist. may not be tight. Recheck timing and tighten dist. Since you just did a tune, it's easy to have overlooked a bolt. I've done it!

 

Ping problem has been solved.
An exhaust leak in one of my headers. Sounds just like pining.
