rear end noise

Default rear end noise
installed right side yoke in 1974 corvette.now there is a tapping noise in the rear end.What is the likely problem?

Bearing, clutches,. . .? Never having done that operation, really can't help you. Maybe somebody else here will see this and put forward some ideas.

Did you drop the yoke and have to put needle bearings back in place? Check your "U" joint for slack or miss alignment ( not seated properly in yoke)
