I'm looking for a nice set of black Headres and side pipes. Anyone no of a good place to find them. Have a 1980 small block 350.

Welcome to the forum.

Most of the Corvette aftermarket houses have them.

Summit and Jegs carry Hooker headers and sidepipes.
Soon as my Vets painted thats the way I am going.

Default Hooker Header

I just received my new sidepipe headers from Summit Racing, great service by the way and their price was the best. This is the second set I've purchased for my 69 Vette, the first was a set of Kustom sidepipe headers back in the 80's. The Hookers are far superior workmanship, don't skimp, buy new, it's worth it.

What muffler inserts (if any) did you get?

Post some pics when you get them installed.

Default Hooker sidepipes

I bought the reverse flow mufflers, I'm looking for the low mellow rumble vs loud and raspy sound

If those are too quiet, you can try the glass pack insert.

Default Hookers

Thanks Shark, I did have the glass packs on my last set. Gonna try the reverse flow this time around. This is the next project on my long list of improvements on this car. I've owned it since 1972 and it has survived 2 divorces but needs some tlc now. After I get the Hookers installed, new tires and then I'm starting the prep for a paint job and new interior.
