is this vette worth it?
If you keep it the way it is and take it to shows etc it is probabbly worth it. It is a classic, 25 years old.
If you drive it and put a lot of miles on it, it's not worth it.
The value will drop like a rock.

I bought my 74 T Top Nov 00, it cost $5400. The paint was perfect but everything else was worn, I bought a Chevy 350 crate eng, had the auto trans rebuilt, new carpets, leather seats and foam, replaced all the "U" joints, front and rear bearings, rotors calipers, front and rear bushings, put on under car chambered exaust, cd radio and new speakers, new battery and just replaced the altinator for the second time last Sunday, total cost 24,000. I dvive the car about 4,000 miles per year, Worth it? You bet it is! When you drive along and get Thumbs Up, & waves from fellow Vette owners! You can't buy gas without the other drivers asking questions. I had my car appraised and insured for 15,500. C-3's are the best value and the fun is "Priceless".
I don't know about a car that old and no miles. This is may be a deal if your never go to drive it and make sure that is actual miles. You can buy newer vette from car lots at that price and drive all you want. The newer vette are very sweet go test drive one.
