does anyone know if there is a website that you can tell what gears compression horsepower etc. number that you can type your vin in and get alot of this info for a C3 if so let me know thanks

Your VIN won't give you a wealth of information. The info contained in the VIN varies by year. Most will tell you what yearCorvette you have, whether it is a coupe or convertible, that it was built in St. Louis and the sequential number will translate to a build month. Again, depending on the year, the Trim Tag will give you some information but is usually limited to the exterior and interior colors.
