Hi Guys. I have a 1980 C3 and I am having a hard time getting the wipers to work properly. I have replaced the wiper switch and I have manually tested the motor itself. When I tested the motor it worked like it should.
When I turn the key on the wipers start working, but they will not turn off when the switch is moved the any speed. Also, when I put the switch in the fast speed the wiper washer pump turns on. When I got this car I could not check to see what worked and what didn't. When the switch is in the medium low position the motor will stop for a short time and then start working again.

This problem is driving me crazy. Any help anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.

fixed It was the controller.
